vector artwork — the best result

Vector artwork (AI, EPS, or a PDF with the graphics as vectors) scales razor-sharp to any size. Design directly into the template, convert text to outlines, work in CMYK, and keep important elements at least 0.4 in away from the seams. Save as PDF/X, or package the AI file together with its linked images.

image files — how large should a JPG be?

Photos and other raster images print beautifully on fabric too. The full print area is roughly 20 × 10 in (50 × 25 cm), so an image covering the whole surface should be at least 150 dpi at final size — about 3000 × 1500 pixels. We recommend 300 dpi (about 5900 × 2950 px) if your source material allows it. Don't upscale a small image: a sharp smaller image printed on a smaller area looks better than a large one stretched soft.
